Early Morning Picnics in Bed with the Jones' Girls

It has been so much fun having Lorie, McKenzie, and Alexa here visiting. They come in early every morning and we have a picnic. Look at these cute girls with raspberries stuck on the tips of their fingers. They bring such happiness into our home.

Just what the doctor ordered! This is me recovering from my surgery. This is the way to recover! Giddy up!

Girls Night Out

This was our first annual Girls Night Out! We spent the night at Marriott in Provo, went out to eat, shopped, went to a movie, went to eat, shopped, pampered ourselves at the day spa, went to eat (yes, we like to eat!) and then Lorie and I finished the day off by attending the YW Broadcast at the Conference center while Vickie and Jessica went to a Bridal Fair. We didn't leave the broadcast without an adventure! In the middle of the broadcast Lorie leaned over to me and asked if I remembered where we parked. You can only imagine! Neither of us could remember, and so that night we found out just how large that parking lot really is! In fact, did you know that you take different elevators to get to different sections of the parking lot??? You learn something new everyday. So, one of the nice workers took us around in his car looking for our car while Lorie held her remote control out the window hitting the panic button to make the alarm go off. And, BEFORE that, we were just about to hop onto someone's golf cart when he came by to drop someone off. We thought he was there to help us, he had a confused look on his face as we walked toward him as if we were going with him. It was then that we realized that it was the wrong person and we didn't have an invitation to ride with him. We were sure glad that we hadn't hopped on with him! That could have been awkward! Another day, another adventure!
